a patch to FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions Service Release 1.2 to fix a
number of issues. We regret any brief disruptions in service caused by

Advance Notice 9 - 15 Oct 2000 : UPGRADING NT VIRTUAL SERVERS
Please note that beginning 9 Oct to 15 Oct, all Webvisions' Windows servers (NT4 &
2000) will be patched with an IIS hotfix provided by MS. This small patch will involve a 5-min installation, followed by a reboot. There will be minor disruptions due to the reboot.
This affects NT virtual servers only, and does not affect NT dedicated server customers, or any Webvisions customer on UNIX machines.
21 Sept 2000
A new centralised backup system has been installed to back up all virtual servers and nameservers. With a starting capacity of 200 GB, the backup server will store up to 4 weeks' worth of compressed weekly backups for all virtual server customers.
22 Aug 2000
Uranus is fast running out of space. We'll be scheduling a quick shutdown
of the system this morning (0000hrs SGT) to install a new harddisk. This
should not take longer than 15 mins.
15 Aug 2000
We'll be shutting down Neptune at 0900 EST today to install a new backup
drive on the system as well as adding another block of ram chips on the
server.
24/25/26 July 2000
Beginning July 24th, 2000, we will be performing facilities
maintenance at our Washington location. During this time, we will be
upgrading our facilities to a new, modern, and state of the art UPS, HVAC,
and generator. This will provide you with a more stable power solution,
as well as superior backup power in case of any emergency.
This maintenance window will affect your server and virtual servers and
you may experience 10-15 mins of inactivity.
29 June 2000 (1000 SGT / 1100 EST)
Beginning Friday June 30th, 2000, we will be performing facilities
maintenance at our Washington location. During this time, we will be
upgrading our facilities to a new, modern, and state of the art UPS, HVAC,

Please note that maintenance to your server will be performed on June 29th
and June 30th, between 11pm-7am EST or 10am - 6pm SGT.
14 Jan 2000 (1100 SGT / 1200 EST)
We'll be performing network upgrades during the above period. This upgrade
will further improve our connectivity in the US. During this period,
intermittent network disruptions are expected for our servers based in the
US.
7 Jan 2000 (1200 SGT)
Network upgrades from January 6 to January 7 in the time period of 12am -
3am (morning of Jan 7). This may result in intermittent disruptions. This event will affect only Singapore-based Webvisions servers.
4 Sept 99 (0300-0800 SGT)
Pacific Internet is conducting routine monthly maintenance. Intermittent
maintenance during this period may be expected. We regret any
inconvenience caused.
7 Aug 99 (0300-0800 SGT)
Pacific Internet (Singapore) will be conducting system maintenance.
Intermittent disruption to some internet services may occur. We regret any
inconvenience caused.
5 Aug 99 (1520 SGT)
We are experiencing network issues that's affecting our Washington
servers currently. We are looking into it right now and apologise for the
inconveniences caused.
28 June 99 (2359 hrs SGT, 1059 hrs EST)
We'll be performing a hardware upgrade on VENUS on the 28th June.
The upgrade would add more ram and increase the cpu. This excercise
should not take longer than 15-20 minutes.
APologies for any inconveniences caused.
23 June 99 (1930 hrs SGT, 0639 hrs EST)
We'll be performing a hardware upgrade on THOR after 1930 hrs SGT tomorrow
(24th June). The upgrade should not take longer then 30 minutes.

14 June 99 (0100 hrs EST, 1400 hrs SGT)
A CISCO IOS update will be performed during this time affecting all
our US based servers. During this upgrade, these servers hosted
will be unreachable for approximately 10 minutes and routing instability
that will directly follow will prevent some portions of the internet from
reaching us for another 10 minutes.
8 May 99 (0300 - 0800 SGT)
PI is conducting a monthly maintenance which may cause intermittent
disruptions. This affects only our Science Park (Singapore) servers.
24 Feb 99 (0100 SGT / 1200 EST)
We have completed the upgrade of Neptune.

We'll be performing upgrades on Neptune over the next few days, including
migrating of files to a new harddisk, adding a new cpu, more ram and a new
motherboard. There would be minor intermittent downtimes. Apologies for
any inconvenience caused.
10 Feb 99 (2300 SGT / 1000 EST)
We are plannng a system upgrade on Venus (upgrade of cpu/motherboard)
at 2300hrs SGT. We expect the upgrade to be completed within an hour.
