WEBVISIONS ATTRACTS TOP-NOTCH EXECUTIVE TO ITS TEAM
Webvisions Names Lewis Lee as Vice President of Technical Services
Singapore - 30 June 2000. Webvisions Pte Ltd, Singapore's leading web-hosting company, announced today that Lewis Lee has joined the company as Vice President of Technical Services. With an extensive background and network knowledge in the telecommunications industry, Lee will provide design and network management for Webvisions' local and regional Internet Data Centers. At the same time, he will manage the overall operations of Webvisions' Internet Data Centers, and lead the technical and support department.

Prior to joining Webvisions, Lee was the Project Manager for customer network solutions at Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (SingTel), where he managed large global projects, including Simple Enterprise Network, Large Scale Global Voice and Data Integration Network. The clients he worked for include Microsoft, Compaq Asia, the Ministry of Education, OCBC Bank, United Overseas Bank and Intel.
Previously as SingTel's Business Network Manager, Lee was responsible for the management of strategic customer network operations, providing services such as analyses of customers' overall network design and network consultancy. Concurrently, Lee also provided technical training to SingTel customers for a wide range of products and other customised services.
In his early years with SingTel, Lee designed and implemented the LAN and WAN network infrastructure for the operations division, and helped to set up SingTel's new regional network. He also managed the operations of SingTel's Data Center, where he was involved in setting up the backup data center and network management center. During this time, he successfully co-ordinated the complete migration of SingTel's Data Center to the new operations center in Telepark.
Lee graduated from University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom (Scotland), and holds an IEEE degree with a major in communications.
