Webvisions accelerates growth with acquisition of Skydio
Latest expansion introduces the addition of a 6,000 square foot data centre as well as a host of new products, services and strengthened customer support infrastructure

Singapore, 3 February 2010 - Webvisions, a leading provider of web-hosting services in Asia Pacific, today announced the completion of its acquisition of Skydio, a Singapore based Internet Service Provider offering data center, managed servers & network, managed messaging as well as SME hosting services.

This acquisition will add a 6,000 square foot state-of-the-art data centre to Webvisions’ Singapore footprint and contribute over S$2.5 million to the company’s annual revenue.

Skydio was founded in 2002 and has achieved exponential annual revenue growth over the past seven yrs. The addition of Skydio is part of the Webvisions Group’s “Acquire, Integrate and Grow” strategy to expand globally and achieve its vision to become the region’s premier provider of web hosting with its One Host in Asia service brand.
