How to Order

How to get your SME Hosting Plan?

Reserved Domain at ACRA
If you are a newly registered business and have reserved your domain at ACRA, you can activate the domain to be used for your SME hosting plan. Your domain will be reserved for 3 months.

Proceed to the order form, and enter the domain in the Domain Selection. In the additional information box, enter the IC number of one of the directors of the business registered.

No Reserved Domain at ACRA
As long you have a live Singapore-registered business with valid ACRA number and do not have a .SG domain registered to this business, you may register one .SG domain name under this subsidy scheme.

Proceed to the order form, and enter the domain in the Domain Selection. Complete the order submission and payment step. Your organisation will be verified for qualification before your order will be processed.

How do I reserve a domain?
Ans:You can reserve a domain at ACRA when you register your business. If you do not have a domain reserved, we will register and activate it for you when you submit your order.
What are the qualifications?
Ans: You must have registered your business in Singapore within the last 3 months, and not already have a .sg domain name.
What is the difference between SME 1 and SME 2?
Ans: They are both web and email hosting plans. For SME 1, the web space and email are shared. For SME 2, there is a 500MB sized WebXpress account, and a 1.5GB sized email account. An FTP account is included in SME 1 for uploading your web pages. WebXpress is a web-based software that will allow you to easily design and manage your web page. FTP access is not provided for the SME 2 and you can only update your web files through your WebXpress account.
Will I have email?
Ans:Yes, with both SME 1 and SME 2, you have group email, email POP accounts and forwarding email.
Will I have a web site?
Ans: Yes, you can choose to have HTML support for your web site pages or rchoose Website Builder option (which is the same price), which allows you to choose your web site design template and publish directly to web site.
If I just need email, can I use this plan?
Ans: Yes. In fact this plan serves all your web site and email needs. If you only need email first, you can use the plan for email only. Later when you need web services, you do not have to purchase an additional web site. You can immediately start uploading your web pages.
What is Webvisions' participation in the SME Domain Name Reservation subsidy by IDA?
Ans: Webvisions is passing the full $30 subsidy for the domain name registration to you, with more. Webvisions is providing the whole domain name reservation fee free of charge! Additionally, this customized plan is targetted to suit start-up businesses at cost-effective prices.
Can non-Singapore registered businesses benefit from this plan?
Ans: No. This hosting plan and free domain registration is for Singapore businesses only.
I already registered a .SG domain name. Can I sign up for this hosting plan?
Ans: No, but you can sign up for other Webvisions shared hosting plans: BusinessXpress, EmailXpress, WebXpress
Do other registrars offer better hosting plans?

Is there FTP for SME 1 and SME 2?
