Our
Virtual DNS service provides you with true primary and
secondary DNS services so that you can register domain names under your own signature.
This means that instead of using Webvisions's DNS to register your domain name or your customer's domain name, you can now register them under NS1.YOURDOMAIN.COM and NS2.YOURDOMAIN.COM. Hence, anyone who does a "whois" lookup on your
domain will see your name servers (e.g NS1.YOURDOMAIN.COM)
instead of NS1.WEBVIS.NET. (i.e. ours)
There is a S$100.00 one time setup fee and a yearly S$100.00
maintenance fee for this service.
There is no limit to the number of new domain names you can add to your
Virtual DNS. You can point your domains to anywhere you want. (ie. you can
point to your virtual intranet server, accounts on other ISPs, etc).
Adding a parked domain or making domain name modifications to your Virtual DNS service is
similar to using Webvisions' DNS services. All charges are the same for services like
parked domain. Similarly, there are also no charges for zone modifications.
A Virtual DNS is definitely the way to go for Web Developers and resellers that want to have peace of mind and prevent their customers from finding out their relationship to Webvisions. This is the main reason we have created this new feature and made it
available to you.
